Description
Exclusive Painting Week in Co. Sligo, Ireland – £500 deposit
17–24 August 2026
Join Jenny for an intimate plein air oil painting holiday at the elegant Coopershill House, Riverstown! Nestled in its own wooded estate, with river views and historic charm, this is a week designed for artists who want to immerse themselves in landscape, light, and atmosphere.
Coopershill is one of Ireland’s finest Georgian country houses, set within its own private wooded estate beside the River Unshin. During the week we will have exclusive use of the house and its grounds — an extraordinary setting with gardens, woodland walks and the historic stone bridge, all offering wonderful opportunities for painting and quiet reflection. Bedrooms are comfortable en-suite rooms within the house, many furnished with antiques in keeping with the character of the estate.
The week includes:
• 5 full days of plein air oil painting tuition with Jenny
• Daily demonstrations and individual guidance
• Two organised painting excursions to the Sligo landscape (including Benbulben, Streedagh and Mullaghmore)
• Exclusive use of Coopershill House and its estate
• Accommodation and all meals included, with wine at dinnerThe week is best suited to painters who already have some experience with oils or landscape painting and would like to deepen their practice. With only eight painters, the small group allows Jenny to work closely with each participant while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and supportive
