The workshop will be held on February 9th, at Pitchblue Creative in Wirksworth. Its a dedicated art space with everything we need, including parking! (FYI There are a few steps up to the studio) There will be tea, coffee and biscuits on tap and a lovely lunch.
We’ll begin with a warm-up tonal sketch, then work on a painting following my demonstration. This will take us to lunch, provided by the amazing Caroline and Roz at Pitchblue ! In the afternoon you will be able to choose from my selection of landscape/seascape images, or bring your own.
I teach throughout the workshop – through my demonstrations and one to one. My aim is that you learn and enjoy, and head off encouraged and enabled at the end of the day. It will be an opportunity to focus, challenge yourself and learn new techniques, regardless of what stage of painting you feel you are at.
Painting is my passion in life, and teaching it is an absolute joy. Look forward to meeting you!
