Welcome to week 9 of my 12-week online painting course – available from 15/5/2020.
This week we look at mountains – where it is all about depth and the impression of immense size and grandeur alongside airy space and distance.
It is easy to end up with heavy, close-feeling mountains, as well as too much muddy green. There is a painterly process, as usual – step-by-step, starting with distance, ending with foreground.
