Welcome to module 7 of my online painting course.
This week we look at sunset skies – and a mass of vibrant, warm colour. It is clouds – so the textures are flat – and brush direction is all important. Getting the impression of staring into the direct sun is a step-by-step process of studying tone and layering light. It is about really looking at those colours to discern your mixes.
