Welcome to module 4 of my online oil painting course.
This week we look at wild seas – a foamy, crashing wave, rolling in and gathering as it goes. I love the rhythm and rush of waves – if you’ve picked this session I’m sure you do too! Do feel free to use your own wavy image, the process is the same: Starting thin, staying thin, and if in doubt – thin!! As ever, it is about layering light, and staying in control of your palette.
