Welcome to module 7 of my online oil painting course.
This week we look at warm, distant clouds and sunlight over rolling fields – a lovely composition with ready-made contrast and a direct sunny glow.
I focus again on the thin/thick paint application, getting the thin ground on first, followed by the areas of light that get flavoured gradually into the darker tones of sky.
